DAVID ROCKEFELLER LECTURE SERIES
In 1997, on the occasion of its 30th Anniversary, the Business Committee for the Arts, Inc. established the David Rockefeller Lecture to honor its founder and advance his belief that the arts are essential to free enterprise and human achievement, and to encourage business to form alliances with the arts as an expression of their broader responsibilities to their communities. This invitational lecture is presented annually by a business leader who is internationally recognized for forging enduring links between business and the arts.
