- Vinson & Elkins’ contributions to the arts include sponsorship of
concerts, performances, art exhibitions and the construction of new facilities,
as well as offering the arts community pro bono legal services.
- The firm provided the legal services necessary for the development of The
Beck Wing of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas, and donated a historic
daguerreotype of Texas statesman Sam Houston to the Museum’s collection.
- The firm provided the legal services to establish the World Wide Premieres
& Commissioning Fund, Inc. devoted to commissioning and arranging
performances of new musical works. The firm assists with drafting contracts with
performers and presenting organizations on an ongoing basis.

recruiting efforts and summer internships, and employees are offered discounts
on admission to performances. Employees are also encouraged to serve on boards
